Chicago’s Plan – Connect Private Surveillance Cameras, 911 Center

28 07 2008
WMAQ NBC 5, Chicago ran a story on July 24th about Chicago's plan to embrace the business
community and sign-up additional Private Surveillance Camera's to enhance the network.

So obviously I'm not alone in this thinking. Aware of the Privacy Issue many like to kling to,
a focused approach to 911 Centers an basically "supplementing" the total cost, Chicago is
preparing itself to be this country's leading example of Surveillance.

The leadership needed to overcome the massive obstacles in achieving this, can only lead to ground
breaking support of citizens (business owners) getting involved with community efforts to create
a safer environment and add additional resources to public safety authorities.

To many times Fire and Police responding to calls are ill-prepared. This technology provides the
tools needed to prevent situations from getting out of control and further complications from
happening.
